About this place
The Rondavel Garden Room is a separate guest house room located within the tranquil garden setting of a countryside lodge. Designed in traditional African style, this thatch-roofed rondavel provides an intimate retreat for up to 2 guests. The room is furnished with a double bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, washbasin, and toilet. The natural thatched roof offers a rustic aesthetic and a naturally cooler indoor climate. In-room amenities include a fan, hairdryer, linen, towels, and a tea and coffee station. There are no additional beds for children or infants, and no lounge areas are designated for sleeping. Guests staying in the Rondavel Garden Room can enjoy direct access to the lodge’s expansive outdoor spaces and a variety of farm-based activities. These include hiking and mountain biking trails, trail running paths, and fishing dams stocked with bass, barbel, and carp. The property is surrounded by maize and soya fields and is home to grazing sheep and cattle. This unit is ideal for couples or solo travellers looking for a peaceful, authentic countryside experience with the convenience of modern comforts.
